What is a Pathfinder?
Pathfinders are a diverse group of adventures, explorers, vagabonds, sages, and treasure hunters held together by their loyalty to the Pathfinder Society and its three tenets:
Pathfinders explore ancient ruins, haunted dungeons, and cursed museums in search of ancient relics and lore, not for profit, but for the knowledge that they hold. They are lead by the society's venture captains, who in turn answer to the masked lords of the Society's Decemvirate.
Pathfinders turn in the relics they find to the Society's venture captains, to be preserved and documented. The best findings and explorers are immortalized in the Pathfinder Chronicles, a series of books published by the society. Every Pathfinder hopes to one day make a find worthy of the Chronicles.
Regardless of disputes between their home countries, religious, or creeds, Pathfinder are expected to cooperate on their missions for the society. Pathfinders must never allow a disagreement between Pathfinders to come to blows. Doing so is grounds for immediate expulsion from the society.
